Freestyle / Figure Skating Ice
Practice ice for figure skaters — usually NOT a hockey session.
What it is
'Freestyle' at most rinks means figure skating practice ice: skaters running programs, jumps, and spins, often with coaches. Some rinks confusingly use 'hockey freestyle' for unstructured hockey ice — read the listing.
Who it's for
Figure skaters practicing independently or with a coach. Hockey families: this is generally not your session unless the rink explicitly says so.

Equipment
Figure skates; no hockey equipment, no pucks (a common posted rule: 'NO PUCKS').
Access & cost
Usually drop-in or punch-card, sometimes restricted to club members or coached skaters. Etiquette matters: skaters running programs have right of way.
