Sharpen puck skills

Skills training amplifies a skating base; it cannot replace one. For players already in organized hockey who skate confidently, good skills sessions add the touches a team practice never has time for. The common mistake is kids in skills sessions who would gain more from skating work.

What actually works

•Be honest about the skating prerequisite. Everyone has more fun when it is met.
•Level grouping matters most: mixed-level clinics serve nobody well.
•Some elite companies run evaluation or invite-only groups. That should be stated up front, and our access chips say so.
•Stick and puck ice is the free companion: unstructured reps for whatever the clinic taught.
